Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010My husband bought a bicycle trainer so he can ride in the house to stay in shape. We live in Ohio so it’s kinda hard to go outside and exercise because it’s 10 degrees and we have 2 feet of snow. Anyway, I want to start riding the bicycle when I get home from work every day so I can lose some weight and tone up my legs. Is there anything I can do other than just ride? I have 3lb. dumbbells, 6 different strength stretch bands, a big yoga ball, larger weights with a weight bench, and I can change the resistance on the bicycle trainer. I haven’t worked out much since high school which was 5 years ago so I know I should start out slow and not kill myself the first day but what should my work out routine be like? How long?

There’s only one place to go skiing where I live and it’s expensive so that’s not happening. I tried snowboarding there once and the experienced people thought it was funny to kick snow on me when I fell. I haven’t been back. I’m not a lover of snow. I do enjoy ice skating but that’s expensive here too. Staying at home is way cheaper. Otherwise, I’d go to the gym and hire a personal trainer.
My legs hurt internally after parkour, any tips?
Monday, May 31st, 2010Whenever I practice parkout, I practice a good 3-7 hours a day. Nothing hurts that day. Then, The next morning, I can’t walk. If someone could tell me how to avoid these internall pains or how to treat them, It would help me. I land alright but my legs hurt when I stretch my muscles in my legs. Remember, It’s parkour, not free running, two different things.

Tuesday, May 25th, 2010I’ve been running track for about 6 months. I wasn’t the best runner at all since at my first track meet I walked half a lap and vomited. I was embarrassed but I used that as my motivation to become better. After two months of being on my schools track team my mom made me quit because I’d get home late from meets. This summer i’ve been trying to build my endurance and Stamina but it seems no matter how long I run everyday I’m still tired and feel the urge to stop. I have a month and 2 weeks left until my first Cross Country Competition and I’m extremely nervous that I wont have the energy or endurance to finish it. Any exercises I can do to build more strength and improve my running? I’d greatly appreciate it !

Friday, May 21st, 2010I just started break-dancing about 3-4 weeks ago, learned how to do basic baby freeze, turtle, and a hang-glide float, and i also learned how to do stepping variations 2-6 and 10 step, but i want to go more into style, i need some help, moreover I need to learn how to combine moves, can anybody give me some moves?
