I want to start eating 5x’s a day, but small portions to increase metabolism, but also eat healthy food. I usually go by the abs diet book, and also the grapplers diet, but sometimes it’s really hard to get to eat so much and always carry that food with you, especially at my high school. Anyways, I’m in Wrestling and even when I do eat such portions I never really lose weight, although I do exercise a lot? What’s the deal here…

so i was thinking maybe…
breakfast; cereal bar(120 calories)
lunch; small 100 calorie bag of popcorn
slice of colby cheese
snack; apple, maybe some slices of pepper
dinner; either grilled chicken salad with chicken, lettuce(veggies) and cheese… only!
or bowl of cereal with 1% milk
if i get hungry i may have a few pretzels in between but nothing much bigger than that
for exercise, i run, bike ride, waterski, play volleyball (not all i same day obviously)
Is it possible to stay in good shape by just eating healthily, and not doing intense exercise?
Monday, May 31st, 2010can you maintain a nice figure without going to the gym for example, or doing jogging or other cardiovascular intense exercises….if you just walk etc. would that be enough and just eat super healthy?

Sunday, May 30th, 2010ONLY serious answers please!! Im not too heavy im about 5’4 & 150lbs. I eat a lot. No I dont have strong will. Please give a good product to try to stop me from eating. I wish I could eat a Salad and be full. Im not trying to starv myself I love food too much. But I need to eat smaller portions and need a little help. I dont want anyting that will make me full like im on crack.
Does exercise,warm baths,aspirin, heating pads,drinking water,& eating vegetables really help shorten periods?

Friday, May 28th, 2010I want to get into a regular exercise regime again. I’m going to start with basic exercises (push/sit/chin-ups) and do some jogging. Eventually I’d like to do get some weights and do weight lifting as well.
I want to know when the healthiest and most productive time to exercise is. Specifically when should I do it in relation to my sleep and eating schedules?
(1) Should I do it in the morning after waking up? In the evening after getting home from work? Right before going to bed?
(2) Should I exercise before or after eating? Should I try to exercise with some good time in between meals?
(3) If I’m starving and have the choice of exercising then eating or eating then exercising, what do I do? Should I eat maybe a little bit, exercise and then finish eating afterwards?

I will be taking part in a summer camp and want to spent 3 activity days on healthy eating, however, would like to vary it from the usual make a fruit salad. Does anyone have any different recipes? I will be teaching a large age range so need recipes suitable for all ages, or recipes directed at both younger or older ages. Thanks
Eating healthy and exercising, but now have love handles?
Wednesday, May 19th, 2010I’ve been eating healthier since May 1st, between 1200-1500 calories per day. I’ve also been walking about 30-45min per day. Now I look in the mirror and it looks like I have love handles now, They look bigger then usual, why?

Tuesday, May 18th, 2010So I usually eat alot of junk food like chips, koolaid, frozen pizza, lots of cheese, candy etc
But yesterday I started eating healthy.
I had some milk, a banana, an apple, yogurt, some raisins, a cucumber, and some organic chicken breast..
But today when I woke up I feel like crap I have a throbbing headache and I feel sore. Can this happen when you just switch to eating healthy?
