Tuesday, June 8th, 2010I weigh 109 and have to weigh MINIMUIM 112 to wrestle in 120 on Saturday for this big tourny. If you ask why not wrestle 110 or 115 the answer is bc they are taken by kids better than me and my coach says that weight needs filled so I’m trying to help the team. ANYWAY I don’t want this weight I’m, gaining to slow me down, I want it most to be muscle. So anyone have some foods I can eat that won’t slow down, but make me gain some weight I can eat? And what exercises can I do? Does curling dumbells for awile help any? Just expand please.

Tuesday, June 8th, 2010I’ll be starting my last year of grad school in a few weeks and this year will be more broke than ever since I won’t be working. I have clinicals up to 3 days a week and class 2 days a week, so my husband may be cooking more often. He’s pretty good as long as he has very specific directions. I’m looking for recpies without ground beef and Ramen! He really likes casseroles and one-pot dishes, so if you have any ideas for those, please include them. Meatless meals are a plus. Thanks!
How do you heal a bad ankle?
Tuesday, June 8th, 2010I had injured my ankle in January during a wrestling tournament. I dont remember what i did to it exactly, but all i remember is that it was fine throughout the day, but when I went home, my left ankle was really sore. It wasnt swollen, but it really hurt, and when i walked on it or put my finger on it, it hurt. It definitely wasnt a sprain because it didnt swell up. I think it was an overuse injury. The problem is that I didnt really do anything to heal it. as a matter of fact, i got up the next morning and ran because I had to lose weight for my next match. all I did was I pretty much wrapped it up and no ice. I continued to practice and exercise, and it continued to hurt. When I rotate my ankle around, i hear cracks and it feels like the joint is giving way and moving around. now last week, I was wrestling again, and i put all my bodyweight on my left ankle, and I felt it crack. I now hurts as much as it did in january, but still no swelling. I want to know how to cure this

How can I gain more mass?
Tuesday, June 8th, 2010I’m about 5’8, and weight 136 pounds. My body fat percentage is 7.5%. I’m pretty build. But I am mostly cut. So I want to gain more muscle mass. To not only be cut, but have more mass. What exercises should I do? I do wrestling, and that’s about it. I want to gain arm mass, shoulder muscle, and chest mass, abdominal mass would be good, too.

Tuesday, June 8th, 2010I am about to be a mom, and I want to eventually be a working mom. The truth is I am not really good at cooking healthy meals. Which never really worried me when it was just me and my husband but I don’t want my baby growing up on hamburger helper and caned vegetables. So, do you have easy healthy recipes or a good website for easy healthy meals? I just want my family to be healthier.
Winning a spot in my wrestling weight class?
Monday, June 7th, 2010I’m a 5”1 eighth grader who is very short for my age. Last year, I wrestled in the 85 pound weight class and had a winning season. However, the last time i weighed myself, i was 87 pounds, 2 pounds over class. Even worse is that the kid who wrestles in the 97 weight class is very good, much stronger than me but not as good putting in moves. I figure i have two options, both have pros and cons.
Option 1: attempt to lose the two pounds by exercising as much as i can. The problem is I’m afraid i wont be able to lose the weight with the little i have. It wont be going Anorexic, just slimming down on the foods I eat.
Option 2: Start working out as much as i can to try and get stronger and win a spot. However, I’m not entirely sure if ill still be able to beat him.
Which option should i choose? If you can come up with something else that could work, please feel free to recommend it.
What are some really healthy homemade bread recipes for a bread machine?
Monday, June 7th, 2010I just inherited my grandma’s old bread machine and I’m interested in making some bread that we can eat on a daily basis for sandwiches, toast, etc. Something whole grain/wheat maybe with some flax seed etc added in to save some money and avoid all the enriched and bleached flour bread at the grocery store. What are some great recipes for healthy bread?
